About us

Engineers and crew who live for the red light.

famejolt is a professional hub for live television production, supporting UK broadcasters with studio equipment integration, camera technique, acoustics and lighting.

Built around the realities of live television

Live programmes leave no room for second takes. famejolt was formed by broadcast engineers and gallery crew who were tired of seeing good presenters let down by poorly integrated studios.

Today we help news teams, interview formats and entertainment shows plan, install and operate studios that stay stable from the first rehearsal to the final credits.

What we stand for

Reliability first

Every system we design has a fallback, and every fallback is rehearsed before transmission.

Craft on camera

Movement, framing and light are planned together so the picture serves the story.

Clean sound

Speech clarity is measured, not guessed, from the first room test to the final mix.

Plain communication

Fixed quotes, clear run-downs and one point of contact from survey to wrap.

How a production project runs

  1. 1

    Survey

We visit your studio, audit equipment and agree what needs to change.

  2. 2

    Design

Signal flow, camera plan, lighting layout and acoustic fixes are documented.

  3. 3

    Install and tune

Our engineers integrate, calibrate and label everything for your crew.

  4. 4

    Rehearse and go live

We run the full show with your team and stay on call for transmission.
